Well...I told you some time ago...that because of the hostility that you
and your radio station showed me at Dallas...when I was your guest there...
that I would wipe out the Dallas Cowboys this season...with psi force...as
your punishment (and Hunt).
As you know...I have done excellently. The Cowboys are losing everything
but their XXXXXX pants...and that could be next.
You-all like a hex? You've really got one there!
Sincerely,
Owens

Dallas, 23-21
DALLAS (AP)-Fred Cox
kicked a 27-yard field goal with
one second remaining Sunday to
lift Minnesota to a 23-21 victory
over the Dallas Cowboys and
keep the Vikings unbeaten in the
National Football League.
It was the third field goal of
the day for Cox who also con-
nected from the 46 and 30-yard
lines.
Minnesota is now 4-0 and the
leader in the National Confer-
ence Central Division while the
Cowboys sank to 1-3 which is
their worst start since 1965.
Fran Tarkenton, the crafty
Viking quarterback, who had
thrown touchdown passes of 66
and 13 yards to Chuck Foreman
earlier in the game, drove Min-
nesota 69 yards in the closing
moments after Calvin Hill's
eight-yard run had put the rally-
ing Cowboys ahead, 21-20, with
2:26 to play.
Tarkenton scrambled for 12
yards during the drive and hit
Ed Marianao with two clutch
passes.
