# Injuries May Decide Winners
By The Associated Press
With 1,000-yard rushers Gale Sayers and Hoyle Granger already lost for the season, the number of injuries cutting down running backs at an alarming rate just might be the key factor in the National Football League title races.
For, while quarterbacks get the greater share of the gold and glory, running backs get the greater share of the black and blue.
### NFL Sick Call

St. Louis--Linebacker Rocky Rosema, leg.
An Associated Press survey showed Thursday that going into the sixth week of the season more than 15 running backs, among them several of considerable magnitude, have been lost for the season or for extended periods with serious injuries.
Thirteen of the 26 teams have been plagued by injuries to their running backs with Chicago, Baltimore, Los Angeles and San Diego each losing their two-man first-string tandem either for the season or a lengthy period.
The Bears have been particularly hard hit with Sayers and running mate Craig Baynham undergoing surgery Thursday. Sayers, who has a damaged left knee tendon, is out for the year. Baynham, who has a problem with an ankle tendon, may be able to return at the end of the season.
George Halas, the Bears' president, said he has been on the phone trying to complete a trade for a running back before the trading deadline next Tuesday, but pointed out "almost everywhere other clubs have the same kind of injury problems."
The Colts have been without both Tom Matte and Jerry Hill because of leg injuries, the Rams played their first several games without broken-jawed Les Josephson and hobbled Larry Smith and the Chargers are going without Dick Post and Brad Hubbert, both down with knee injuries.
Granger, the Houston Oilers' top rusher, is lost for the season after undergoing surgery for ligament damage to his left knee and so is Matt Snell of the New York Jets, who ruptured an Achilles tendon that required surgery.
Others lost for the season include Dave Hampton of Green Bay with a pelvic disorder, Leroy Keyes of Philadelphia with an Achilles tendon; No. 1 draft choice Larry Stegent of St. Louis with a knee injury and Max Anderson of Buffalo with a knee injury.
There also have been a number lost for a significant length of time, including Andy Livingston, New Orleans, knee; Jim Nance, Boston, ankle; Willis Crenshaw, Denver, leg, and Tommy Mason, Los Angeles, broken ribs.
While running backs have been the hardest hit, quarterbacks also have taken their lumps, particularly Joe Namath of the Jets and Charley Johnson of Houston. Namath has a broken wrist bone and Johnson a fractured collarbone. Both will be lost until the closing weeks of the season, if they return at all.
Cincinnati lost Greg Cook with arm problems that required surgery even before the season started and three others have been troubled at various times this year--Len Dawson of Kansas City, Bill Nelsen of Cleveland Roger Staubach of Dallas.

Gentlemen:
I wrote you at the very beginning of the pro football season... and informed you that the Si's (UFO intelligences) were going to go all out this pro season...and literally tear all pro football teams to pieces! That the Si's would put "attack PK" in all football stadiums where pro teams would play, and make "traveling hospital wards" out of pro football teams. I pointed out that this was the Si's idea and execution...my job for them was to control just five teams, Jets, Chiefs, Cowboys, Eagles and Dolphins.
I knew that sooner or later some periodical would publish an extraordinary list of pro football casualties...and this morning it happened. The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, published an Associated Press article. Am enclosing a copy for you to see. Just like when I hit the Eagles with PK some years ago and your local papers published a "sick call" list of horrendous proportions...so does this one for the entire NFL!
Note: "...the number of injuries cutting down running backs at an alarming rate...". And: "An Associated Press survey showed Thursday that going into the sixth week of the season more than 15 running backs, among them several of considerable magnitude, have been lost for the season or for extended periods with serious injuries. Thirteen of the 26 teams have been plagued by injuries to their running backs..."
And it goes on to add injuries to other kinds of players, including quarterbacks Len Dawson, Roger Stauback and Joe Namath, who quarterback three of my PK'd teams.
You know...you gentlemen and a few of my contacts are the only ones who know what is behind this, what is causing this. I warned when I wrote you before the season...that it was your responsibility to get this out to the players, the word, so that then it would be their choice if they played (and got hurt) or not.
I'm afraid you fell down on your job. Too bad. There'll be lots more injuries. Just how the Si's are doing this is quite fascinating (I know how) but there's no use telling you, I guess. Waste of time.

The Miami Dolphins
The Kansas City Chiefs
Yesterday:
Jets lost.
Eagles lost.
Dolphins lost.
KC Chiefs lost.
(All the PK'd teams, except Cowboys who played Chiefs; had to let one win
Gentlemen:
Ive been slow to take the Miami Dolphins apart...and make them fast losers...because yesterday was the first and only time I've been able to get them on television to do it. I managed to get them on the radio some weeks before...and beat them, for their only loss. Up till yesterday, that is. And yesterday, working on them with my special PK mind...I sopped the Miami Dolphins cold, in their tracks...as you are aware you were stopped. Though no doubt you gave the credit to the other team. Ha
You remember me, Dolphins...I came to your offices before the season began, last year...and offered to make your team a world-beater. You said no. That you had a potential world-champion team. Well, with me demonstrating the only power of its kind in the world against your team...you are sunk.
As for the KC Chiefs...I warned you also, before this season began (as I warned the Dolphins, the New York Jets, the Phila. Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys) that I'd stop you cold this year, stop you from reaching the World Championship (which is for all the marbles).
Look what has happened to your teams, and the other three! I hit the Jets week after week on TV, and wiped out all...not practically all, but all...of their key players. Namath, Boozer, Snell, and so on. I got to the Cowboys several times on TV, and wiped out many of their key players...Staubach and others. Morton is so injured he can hardly stand up. (Yesterday I helped the Cowboys beat the Chiefs with PK, because the Cowboys have so many injured they haven't a chance to get to the Championship...so I attacked the stronger team, the Chiefs, with PK). Of the other teams, the Eagles haven't won a game yet...and are out of the running for the Championship; as are the Jets now. And the Cowboys are so weakened they haven't a chance. That leaves just the Dolphins and Chiefs to finish off with PK in the next few weeks; then my job is done. I PROMISED ALL FIVE TEAMS IN WRITING BEFORE THE SEASON BEGAN THAT I WOULD TAKE THEM APART WITH KEY INJURIES TO KEY PLAYERS AND BLOCK THEM FROM THE PRO CHAMPIONSHIP...and of course it is coming to pass, just like I did with the Eagles some years ago. Woodeshick, The Eagles star, who was torn up in yesterday's game and is out now for the season, said it right for newspaper reporters: "This team is jinxed!" he said. "This team is really, really jinxed!" And he's right, it is. And so are the Jets, the Chiefs, the Cowboys and the Dolphins.
You will find this hard to believe...BUT I HAVE THE POWER TO ACTUALLY PICK UP FOOTBALL PLAYERS WITH MY MIND AND FLING THEM AT OTHER PLAYERS! And I can knock the feet out from underneath runners when nobody is near them! I do this time and time and time again in PK'ing games. That's why so many injuries...and why so many weird, freak things are happening.

Dear Alan:
It is with pleasure that I can report something for you that did work...stemming from your co-broadcast with me over your radio hookup.
Mr. Gerald Kvasnicka and his wife were driving in their car in Kansas...and heard the broadcast you and I participated in. He immediately wrote two fast letters to you...saying it was a matter of life or death to contact me...but those letters got hung up because the mail was so heavy, as you know. He then got a copy of Saga magazine...and fired off a special delivery to Saga, which was rushed to me. I called him long distance, and he said his brother had a tiny girl, age 3, dying of leukemia in Los Angeles, and could I help? I told him I didn't know, but that I'd saved others that were dying. The upshot was that he sent me a round-trip plane ticket and I immediately flew to Los Angeles and went to his brother Ken's house there. This girl is a living doll. But...she certainly was dying. The doctor's gave her about a week to live by the time I got there. I used ten choice other-dimensional techniques on her, then returned, to Norfolk. (I put so much energy and "juice" into trying to restore her that I was knocked out for a full week. Couldn't work.) Now, I told Ken Kvasnicka out there in LA that the first thing I had to do with my special ability...was to HALT her downslide. If a car is out of control, going downhill, first thing to do is get the brakes on and stop it. THEN figure out how to turn it around and get it up the hill again, you see?
I just received a letter from Gerald Kvasnicka in Kansas that his brother called long distance and reported that Melody (the little girl's name) had improved 100%. The "bad" cells had dropped from 80 to 2; the "good" cells had doubled; and her horribly distended stomach, from the disease, had subsided! And she had begun to eat "with relish."
Of course, this startling reversal is terrifically good news, and I wanted to share it with you, since it wouldn't have come about were it not for your radio show.

PS .......... Mr. Dale
I think the time has come...to show off the Si powers and miracle abilities...on a large scale. (Large to me and us, but not to them. I've seen them give world-wide demonstrations of weather control, and a killer drought in India, saving four million people, and so on...this is a larger scale than just a U.S. city).
Provided you wish to enter into this hour-long experiment that I've mentioned...I'll carry it one step further.
Not only...will people who hear the hour-long broadcast be helped in mysterious ways (through powers activated by my voice, via the Si's, in their behalf) BUT --
when the hour-long program is over, I want the listeners to go out of their houses and apartments and study the sky nearby. I WILL BUILD A MECHANISM INTO THE HOUR-LONG PROGRAM WHICH WILL ACTUALLY CALL THE UFO'S INTO HUMAN SIGHT FOR SOME TIME AFTER THE PROGRAM IS OVER, SO THAT THEY CAN BE SEEN WHERE THE PROGRAM IS HEARD.
Thus you should be able to get reports from various places, in the days following the program (or even phone calls just after the program is over) telling of and describing UFO's seen as a result of your program!
As I say...this entire thing is an experiment on my part. I haven't done anything like this before.
And I intend to carry this even further.
Am going to unleash Si powers...certain ones...to INFLUENCE San Antonio, which is a very rough place, as I remember, having been through there several times. This will have the effect of reducing the crime rate of San Antonio, of bringing about miraculous healing cures in San Antonio, in the hospitals and elsewhere. In short...am going to make a test case...experiment...out of the city of San Antonio...make it a better place. The criminal elements there will get very queasy and uneasy and unhappy...and probably move away. Law enforcement agencies, police, etc., will have a much easier time of it, because these powers will help them and be on their side. And the PK will grow and become even more powerful as time goes by. I will not change it or withdraw it. I'm going to make San Antonio my "baby" to overlook and oversee with powers from the other dimension which I know so well.
God help the criminals in San Antonio from now on...and those there who would hurt anyone or anything there, for their punishment will be sure and terrible...coming as it will from the Si's and their dimension.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I am employed at the Post Office, Custom House Station, in Norfolk, Virginia.
I was working at my window about a week ago when Ted Owens, who calls himself "PK Man" and has a P.O. Box, No. 3134, at our post office, came to my window.
"Mr. Ramos," he said, "my special ESP ability and powerful mind have picked up the thoughts of some bad people...who are planning to bomb a post office here in Norfolk. It could be this one. They plan to bomb it on Saturday or Sunday. You had better notify the authorities about it."
Last Saturday a bomb was thrown at the Post Office building on West 20th Street here in Norfolk, and the FBI have entered the case.
Ted Owens, therefore, was correct, and accurate, when he foretold the event approximately one week before it actually happened.
I swear that this is a true and accurate statement.

NORFOLK--A fire bomb was thrown at the Post Office building in the 400 block of West 20th Street early today.
Police said the bomb exploded on a loading dock on the east side of the building. The building's yellow brick wall was blackened and fragments of glass littered the loading platform.
The bomb hit the building inches away from a large window.
Investigators found burned newspapers and an empty salt container in a trash can behind the Post Office.
A neighborhood resident told police that he saw two men running down an alley behind the post office after the explosion.
The FBI was notified.
